tim ryon was born in san jose, california but grew up in kenya, east africa.

After high school, he moved back to the bay area where he cultivated a love for electronic music and discovered that photography could be a job. he then moved to rochester to attend rochester institute of technology where he experienced winter in western new york and also managed to graduate with a degree in commercial photography.

he lived in queens and worked all around new york city for a number of years before moving to the los angeles area to be closer to family. during his time in southern california, he got married and picked up an awkward but lovable dog. he then realized that he missed new york and is now once again based here, though he splits his time between new york and california.
